Where is my data saved?
This is an interactive prototype, so your entries are saved in this browser, on this device only. Come back in the same browser to pick up where you left off. Clearing your browser data, or opening it in a different browser, starts fresh.
Why doesn't my balance match my bank?
BFF tracks balances from the transactions you enter. This prototype isn't connected to a real bank, so the numbers reflect only what you add here.
What can I import?
You can try importing a bank statement as a CSV or PDF to see how transactions populate the app. If a PDF doesn't read cleanly, a CSV usually works best.
How do I add categories or set a budget?
On the History page, open Filter and choose "Edit categories" to add or rename categories and pick an icon. Budgets, and whether they run weekly, monthly, or over a custom range, are set on the Goals page.
Is the Coach giving real financial advice?
The Coach offers general, illustrative guidance based on your entries. It's a helpful nudge, not professional financial advice.
How do I start over?
Under Privacy & account above, choose "Reset demo data" to clear everything and return to a clean slate.
